Two carreaux de ciments floors and a ceramic in this Kent house
This is a bold and creative execution for three antique French floors, dating from the latter part of the nineteenth century and early part of the twentieth century, which have found a new home in this Tunbridge Wells, Kent property.
Two carreaux de ciments floors of handmade cured tiles have been relaid in a large bathroom and adjoining toilet and a handmade Boch Freres ceramic encaustic tile on a wheat coloured fond has been relaid in the kitchen. The cutting of the tiles around the sink in the toilet is particularly impressive given the tiles are more than an inch thick!
