We supplied two restored antique carreaux de ciment floors, dating from the early twentieth century, for this North London home and were delighted to receive photographs back showing how these large, 20cm sq, bold tiles have added colour and warmth.

One floor has been laid in the bathroom, where the period floor and antique fixtures along with a modern sheet glass walk in shower and white metro tiles all harmonise perfectly. In the kitchen a bold, predominantly red floor, works sensationally with a quaker style theme. The border positioning is perfect and she is clearly the heroine!
