Three antique French floors in a Burgundy Farmhouse restoration

Three antique French floors have been supplied for this Burgundy, France farmhouse renovation.

The entrance hall and the master bedroom en-suite bathroom have been re-laid with period ceramic encaustic floors and in the 40m2 / 400 sq ft kitchen a larger French carreaux de ciment tile in a charcoal and beige palette has been laid.

While the antique floors are completely new to the house they help anchor the architectural style of the farmhouse, working well with the older 18th century oak beams and stone walls, and they regularly attract comments of how lucky the owners were to have found a house with such original floors still intact!
