Small run of Maufroid Freres et Soeur borders pre 1913
A small run of 22 antique ceramic Belgian half size border tiles.
16.5cm x 8.25cm square and 15mm thick the tiles were produced by Maufroid Freres et Soeur between 1875 and 1912.
Professionally individually cleaned, they have a pleasing patina with some displaying small groutable edge nibbles.
A highly fired tile, they can be laid inside or outside of the home, arrive ready to relay and will work very efficiently with under-floor heating systems.
Perfect as a feature; framing a modern ceramic tile, as a small kitchen wall work surface run, a practical bathroom feature above an antique bath or sink, inside a shower.
