Small French ceramic encaustic floor - lattice design in beige

A small classically designed antique French doubled bordered floor c.1900, totalling 8.25m2+ / 88 sq ft,  in a geometrical lattice design on a tile fond of beige.The tiles are ceramic encaustic with the main field and larger border tiles of 15.5cm sq being framed by their half size border tiles.

The tile quantities, give or take one or two, are 230 field tiles, 66 large border tiles, 90 half size border tiles. There are four large corner tiles and three for the small border, requiring one be mitre cut.

The floor has cleaned very well, some tiles are displaying small chips and nibbles expected of an antique floor of this age but the quality of the ceramic is good and the tile surfaces have retained their slip and lustre.
