A Sand & Cie heritage ceramic with geometric borders 5.8m2
If you are looking for an impressive ceramic floor which immediately communicates 100+ years old then this is a strong candidate. A period French ceramic of 15.4cm tiles it comprises of a fluid gothic style field tile, opening up over a four and eight tile tessellation, and a strongly geometric and complimentary framing border.
The tiles were manufactured as the beginning of the last century by the award winning producer Carrelages Mosaiques Sand & Cie, Feignes, Maubeuge and we include in the photo gallery scans from the original pages of their catalogue in our possession.
The floor has cleaned well and has a lovely antique patina. Handmade tiles displaying occasional tonal variations, small edge nibbles and groutable chips but this is an excellent, heavy, quality ceramic reverse stamped with the manufacturers motif. We have 40 of the large border tiles available and the half size domino themed borders shown on the catalogue page can also be supplied. Doing so would increase the surface area above its current quoted level.
A highly fired tile it can be laid inside or outside of the home and will work most efficiently with underfloor heating systems.
