Patchwork of 20 antique French and Belgian ceramic tiles

20 French and Belgian ceramic encaustic tiles dating from between 1900 and the 1930's make up this patchwork presentation.

14cm square with six half size 14cm x 7cm tiles, they have cleaned very well and arrive ready to relay.

A pleasing antique patina, they display no surface wear and slip colours are consistent; a few displaying small groutable chips and edge nibbles as the high resolution photographs show.

A highly fired tile, they can be laid inside or outside of the home and will work very efficiently with under-floor heating systems.

Perfect as a centralised floor feature or a splashback behind sinks or baths or as a wall feature in a shower. Optionally, they would add an accent around an Aga or woodburner.
