Maufroid Freres et Soeur half size borders in charcoal and mustard

32 antique ceramic Belgian half size border tiles.

16.5cm x 8.25cm square and 15mm thick the tiles were produced by Maufroid Freres et Soeur between 1875 and 1912.

Strongly geometrical in a warm palette of charcoal, off-white and mustard.

Professionally individually cleaned, they have a pleasing patina with some displaying small groutable chips and edge nibbles.

They can also be used as a kitchen wall work surface run or as a bathroom feature with an antique bath, shower or sink.
