A large run of period Boch Freres half sized borders c.1900-1908
A large run of antique ceramic encaustic lattice themed border tiles in a mustard, burned red and charcoal piping palette.
The tiles were manufactured in the early part of the 20th century by Boch Freres Maubeuge and we include in the gallery scans from their original catalogues presenting the tiles.
17cm x 8.5cm and c.15mm thick, owing to the handmade nature of the tiles in small batches there are subtle differences in both thickness and dimension.
210 tiles available, offering a total linear meterage of 35.7 linear metres / 117 linear feet.
The tiles can be used to further enhance an antique floor, frame a modern ceramic or parquet or as a decorative and practical feature as a kitchen splashback, in an Aga or chimney inglenook, in a shower etc.
