A large, 27.5m2+ classically geometric French ceramic floor with original triple borders
It's rare to find an antique ceramic floor larger than 20m2, so we are delighted to present this classical French period ceramic with a surface area in excess of 27.5m2 / 295 sq ft. The floor has been reclaimed from the reception room of a maison maitre in Amiens, Picardie, northern France.
Easy on the eye, the floor comprises of a geometrically themed main field tile framed by a triple border series of one same size border and an identical half size border laid in duplicate, top and bottom. Each tile has been professionally cleaned and quality controlled so that the floor arrives ready to relay; the ceramic is excellent and the slip deep. Aside from a small number of tiles displaying occasional small groutable edge nibbling they are all robust, of good quality. Being an encaustic tile the floor can be laid inside or outside of the home.
