9m2 antique carreaux de ciments damier cross floor

A 9m2, antique carreaux de ciment floor of 20cm tiles, dating from the early part of the twentieth century and recovered from the entrance hall of a townhouse in the suburbs of the meditteranean city of Montpellier. The tiles are 20cm square and consist of a plain burgundy, plain off-white and cross motif tile. Having been professionally cleaned they now reveal a beautifully rich and time aged patina. The floor arrives ready to relay and will need sealing once relaid to protect it against staining. We provide the clear paint on sealant and two coats is all that is needed.

The tiles are suited to laying inside the home as being slightly porous an external laying could carry the risk of damaging the tiles over years should freezing and thawing in winter be a possibility.
