25m2 / 269 sq ft of antique French terrocatta tiles in warm, brick tones.

The tiles are supplied ready to relay, having been cleaned of their old mortar and their surfaces steam washed. Once laid the tiles should be sealed against staining with either a modern paint-on clear sealant or using the traditional French method of three coats of linseed oil with decreasing quantities of turpentine mixed in, coat by coat.

16cm sides, 20mm thick - 39 tiles per m2. 

These antique terracotta tiles were handmade and will have subtle variations in size and thickness by tile and a tiler should always dry lay a section before commencing fixing in order to familiarise him/herself with them.
