18.25m2 Sand & Cie Ceramic floor with ornate motif
A rare, Sand & Cie ceramic encaustic floor of 15cm square tiles dating from the beginning of the twentieth century. 18.25m2 / 200 sq ft in total surface, with its original same size and half size border series and a large central motif of 64 tiles measuring 120 cm sq / 4 ft sq.
There is an identical second large motif that is missing four tiles and amongst the 60 tiles remaining 3 tiles are broken in two but with clean breaks so they could easily be laid by a tiler. A photograph, pre-cleaning, of this motif is available as there is obviously the option to have the missing tiles made. This motif is supplied free with the floor purchase.
