13m2+ / 140sq ft antique ceramic encaustic period floor c.1900, complete with original triple border tile framing.

Having been professionally cleaned, the tile colours are as crisp and vibrant as when fired and the detail in the geometric design is quite stunning. The cornflower blue, set on a white background, with its pink piping, green vegetal touches and creative scrolling make this floor nothing short of a conversation piece and one that would benefit from being the hero in any room bathed in natural light. The twin half size borders are of a lattice form, complimented by a full size framed fern tile.

The floor is in very good condition as the photographs testify, the ceramic is of a fine quality and being ceramic encaustic the floor could be laid inside or outside of the home.
