100 half size borders - Simons et Cie - early 20th century

A 14 linear metre / 46 linear feet run of half size ceramic encaustic border tiles, ideal to frame a modern or antique ceramic tile or hardwood floor.

The 14cm x 7cm tiles, 14mm thick were manufactured by Simons et Cie, Usine de Cateau (NORD) in the early twentieth century.

We include a couple of photographs in the gallery showing the now long closed factory as well as a scan from their period catalogue showing the border in a different colour-way.

Owing to the weight of the tiles, at around 85 kgs, it would be likley they would only ship economically as part of a larger order.
