An early Art Nouveau floor in a bathroom in England

This 9m2/100sqft floor was renovated by the antique floor company in 2007 for an English client. Once years of dirt and wax had been removed the colours returned as vibrantly as they were when fired over a hundred years ago. The main field tile is of exquisite art nouveau styling and the border tile is a fine example from the early movement.

These lovely antique tiles, which were in perfect condition, have given the bathroom a timeless feel which is exactly the look I was aiming for Mrs J.A – England
