Now gracing an impressive and ornate entrance hall in a Somerset Edwardian house, an antique French Douzies Maubeuge ceramic floor.
The floor dates from the early part of the twentieth century and was supplied fully restored to its original beauty by The Antique Floor Company.
The main field tile is framed by its original lush same size back-to-back border tiles and completed with the relaying of the homes original antique hardwood parquet.
A beautiful statement but also a practical choice for low maintenance in a high traffic area of the house.
