Art Nouveau elegance in this magnificent Le Touquet demeure
A fully restored triple border antique French ceramic floor was supplied by The Antique Floor Company for this magnificent Art Nouveau demeure in Le Touquet, France, constructed at the beginning of the 20th century.
Our client, renovating the property and conscious of its architectural heritage, wanted to ensure it retained its art nouveau theme and styling and has achieved this to great effect laying this floor on both the external and internal entrance areas and associated rooms.
The quality of lay is superb with no quarter given to even the most difficult areas around the base of the original spiral staircase. As well as supplying the floor, The Antique Floor Company assisted in advising on the best potential lay of the floor and its original borders, producing the necessary technical floor plans for the tiler to use.
