A triple bordered antique ceramic floor c.1912
A late art nouveau triple border ceramic floor dated c.1912 in grey, mushroom and sky blue framed by a same size border tile on a cream fond with a half size border of an ornate ochre motif on a caramel and chocolate slip.
The tile design and detail is unmistakingly art nouveau and the 14.2cm tiles are in very good condition and having cleaned beautifully the colours are vibrant and crisp.
The floor has been reclaimed from the hallway of a house in Gembloux, Belgium and arrives ready to relay. Once laid it will not require sealing, a regular wash is all that is needed to retain its beauty.
In excellent condition, the photographs in the gallery are of a random section of the floor.
