A centralised antique ceramic in this North London kitchen (PT1)
This antique French ceramic, produced by Manufacturers de Ceramiques Maubeuge in the 1930's, has been relaid in this North London kitchen as a centralised feature. Using two field tiles, a motif and a plain, it is beautifully framed by its original borders before giving way to a larger plain modern ceramic which rendevous with the contemporary kitchen furnishings.
As well as practical and low maintenance its palette is easy on the eye and its design complimentary. Proof that antique and contemporary can work so well together.
In summary... 'A superb relay!'
